03-09-2024I would actually give this couch 4.5 stars.Pros: Pretty easy assembly - we had 2 people and it took about 30 minutes to put together. The seat cushions are firm but still soft. It’s the perfect size for apartments but I would say too small for a home.Cons: The back cushions are quite thin and they don’t have the same firmness as the seats. You can definitely feel the metal backing when you lay back (this is where I dock 0.5 star). But a few additional cushions solved that problem.Tip: I found that when putting together the ottoman, it’s actually easier to attach the legs to the baseboard first and then build the side boards around it. When I did what they instructed, the resulting box shape was very wonky and the baseboard wouldn’t fit.Overall, a decent couch that gets the job done at an affordable price.

03-09-2024For a small/ first apartment for a couple without kids i’d recommend this couch. We’ve had it a few weeks and its holding up well. I will say its a bit creaky, and its not the most comfortable, but its not uncomfortable. I would also not trust it with kids, or marital activities. The back rest in particular is not the most sturdy thing, I think if someone over 200lbs sat on the back piece directly with their full weight, or if kids or people were jumping on it, it might break. But that being said, i’m over 6’ and 210 lbs, and I can sit on it normally just fine. I would’t “drop” on it aggressively though.

03-09-2024This couch is perfect for my small apartment. Comfort is ok, but I’m also very small. I’m 4’9 and 135lbs . It arrived in one box and arrived before the original date that was given for the delivery. The instructions were easy to read BUT the pieces were not labeled correctly. So a project that should have taken maybe an HOUR max, took me almost 2. Also one of the arm rests was damaged so it looks like I’ll need to invest in a cover as it is very visible and eye sore.
