To change out the AAA battery simply remove cap, hold trimmer body with one hand and pinch the trimmer head with your index finger and thumb with the other hand then gently pull up on the trimmer head. This will give you access to the battery tray. Replace bad battery and simply slide trimmer back into the metal sleeve. To remove the trimmer head pinch the head between your index finger and thumb then turn counterclockwise a quarter turn and lift away from the trimmer body. To replace the head, align the notches on the head with the channel on the trimmer body, press down and turn a quarter turn clockwise until it locks into place. 11-12-2024I really like this little Wahl trimmer. you really can’t beat the price. The motor is pretty strong and the blades are fairly sharp. This will not work for heavy duty haircutting, But works great for little touchups here and there. especially to trim ear hair, eyebrows, to clean up a mustache or beard or for whiskers. The guard also comes in handy so you know that you’re cutting your hair a uniform length. It is a little fragile, so just make sure you don’t drop it. Other than that it should last a long time. Great product at a great price!

11-12-2024My 1st Wahl Micro Groomsman Refuses to ........Break permanently! About once every year or so for the last 7 years, I have to put it back together because the "locomotion" arm gear pops off. No big deal. I think this new Wahl has a little different gearing for no repairs. The outside design is identical to my old one. My only complaint would be is my old one is not very sharp compared to other personal groomers, but I guess that could be a plus too. NEVER cut my skin, only use it for nose, ear hair and my "3rd" eyelashes (rogue inside lash by tear duct). Eyebrow hair is very tough and I use my regular Wahl Barber Style Hair trimmer for that. Would be worthless for the tough pubic hair. Hopefully my old one will break down in a few years or I'll lose. lol

11-12-2024I've been buying/using this trimmer for about ten years.The trimming/cutting ability seems to vary from one device to another.They are also somewhat fragile...don't drop it on the floor.With that said, this is inexpensive and usually works fairly well.I use it to trim my mustache/goatee.The last couple of years, the quality of the cutting ability seems to have diminished. (I have to replace this about once a year. The first 7 or 8 times I bought one, they worked quite well.The last two or three have been merely adequate, at best.)
