Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid & Peptide - Outperforms All, Doctors Recommend for Anti-Aging

Let me start this by saying that I was initially drawn to this product because of its lack of harsh and excessive chemicals - any product that can work it's magic with only 5 ingredients is A-OK in my book, as we are constantly trying to limit our use of chemicals in general.I've now gone through two bottles of this stuff, and overall I've had success with it.I began using it in early December, and I'm more than halfway through the second bottle now, 4 months later.I'm 34, have very nice blemish-free skin, but did have some fine lines on my forehead and little crows feet, as well as two noticeable melasmas (dark spots) on my face.The first time I used this serum I immediately enjoyed the smooth silky application and how quickly my skin absorbed it.It leaves your face feeling a little "tight" after it dries, but I always followed it up with my moisturizer which took care of that.I used it almost religiously, every morning and every night.After about a week, I started noticing my dark spots appeared a little lighter and less noticeable, and easier to cover up with makeup!I wasn't sure if it was my optimistic mind playing tricks on me, but it was very motivating to continue using it as directed.After 2 months of use and going through one full bottle, I can definitely say that this serum lightened my dark spots, smoothed my tiny wrinkles a bit, and overall gave my skin a plumpness and glow that only made me look more youthful.So I ordered my second bottle, and after the third month, I started to have a reaction to it.I'm not sure if the product formula changed, or if that was just how long it took my skin to have repeated exposure to it before having a reaction.My experience was that it began drying my skin out, almost to the point of creating a dry skin/scaling effect on the surface of the skin. Having that dryness prompted me to exfoliate more, which in turn would leave little tiny "scabs" if you will, while the skin recovered.This is not cute, and does not work with my makeup.I stopped using it, and after about a week, it started clearing up.It's very disappointing, because I do really like this stuff and do think it works.After my wedding in 2 months, I am planning on working this back into my regimen in varying doses and frequencies, to see if I can find a way to continue using it without having that reaction. I will update my review with any further findings at that point.

I’ve never used a “serum” that is so thin. It’s like water and smells like nothing. As an esthetician, it doesn’t make sense that there is no smell even without having fragrance in it. It literally seems like water. I gave 2 stars because maybe I’m wrong and I’ve only used it once but it doesn’t make my skin feel hydrated at all and feels like I’m just putting water on my skinUpdate:They will be sending me a new one. They said it sounds like the heat during shipping ruined my serum. Great customer service! Will update again after I have used the new product!
