I’ve been using Magic Shave since I was 17yrs old. I am now 62 yrs old. I have never had a problem with this product. I have left this product on my head for 15 to 20 mins and have not had one problem. I use an old knife to take it off. The instructions says not to scrape it off but I’ve been scraping it off for years. This product is not for all people. I guess I’ve been using it for so long it doesn’t bother me. My head feels soft and smooth like a baby’s bottom. My hair grows back quick, so I use it once a week. I think the trick is you have to have a certain length of hair to use it. I use the powder also, but I use it twice a week. You cannot use this product everyday. Hope this helps someone.

I’ve used other Magic Shave products, they work…I do have to keep it on the full 7 minutes or so for it to be effective on my hair. I’ve tried it twice and it works for the most part. Skin feels as if you’ve rubbed Mentholatum on it as pores can feel open, however, that’s the ‘Magic activating’. I’ll continue to use for that close shave. I recommend taking your time with this products use, FOLLOW the directions and mind the time, you’ll be fine. And to think, the smell used to be worse.?

Product may not be suitable for all users.I fully shave my head every other day with a razor.I originally purchased this product in wanting to expedite my morning shower routine.Being a technical and specification geek I throughly read the instructions being I did not want any adverse effects to my skin.As directed I applied a fairly thick layer to my scalp, hair growth at the time of application was just below a stubble.During the application process I fully sensed a tingling sensation throughout my scalp, with this I had high expectations this cream was truly working.After applying throughly the cream I washed my hands and then set a timer for exactly 4 minutes.Product was moist during the entire 4 minute duration. At the 4 minute mark I utilized a damp cloth and wiped away a small area toward the front of my scalp.No evidence of hair follicles on the cloth, I continued to press forward by allowing this cream bake on my moon like cratered head for another 3 minutes.7 minutes is the maximum threshold you can keep this cream on your skin.iPhone stop watch goes off again at the 7 minute mark.I’m now feeling uneasy being it feels like my scalp had been subjected all you can eat Buffet for Texas fire ants.During the final cleanup, no evidence of hair being dissolved.It has been three days since the first and only trial of this product had been tested, my scalp is currently sensitive to both hot and cold water.I have slight spot blemishes on my scalp, depending on the lighting my scalp has a Leopard print now.In conclusion this product found its way into the trash can, I will continue to utilize the tried and true razors.
