I put off getting an at-home gel kit for years because I like the pampering aspect of going to the salon. I just could not justify the cost anymore and got this when it had a coupon so it was less than one gel manicure from the salon.It's super simple to use and gives great results. You do need to take your time so the gel doesn't pool in the creasesof the nail bed, but it still doesn't take very long and the results last for at least two weeks with very minimal chipping (if you don't pick at them). I like that it came with a base coat and 3 different top coats for different looks. The variety of colors isn't exactly to my tastes, but there is enough there to work with, especially with the different top coats. Yes, the bottles are small, but what do you expect at this price? And honestly, I don't know that I would want them any bigger because I would never use them up before they got gross.The only thing I would have preferred is if it would've come with maybe one or two fewer colors and more bottles of the base coat since that is used EVERY time. That said, I've done 5 manicures now between my daughter and myself and the bottle is not yet empty. (So if people say the bottles are good for one set, they are clearly using too much). I would also recommend having some of that gel remover stuff of a nail drill to get it off because that is what takes the longest.

This gel nail kit is amazing! The results look just as good as a professional salon, and I love the convenience and cost savings. Each bottle has enough polish for at least two applications, so it’s great value for the price. I know people mentioned the bottles are small, but I always have to get little bottles because when I have a lot of colors, I don't use them fast enough before they get gummy. I will just keep using the same ones I already opened before opening new ones to make sure they last. Also, I spent 7 bucks to buy a kit that has base and top coat separately in larger bottles since those will get more use.I followed the advice from other reviews and cured for 120 seconds instead of 60, which worked perfectly. For the top coat, I had to cure twice for 120 seconds because it was still a little sticky after the first go. It was an easy fix and totally worth it for the glossy finish.As a beginner, I learned a few tips along the way. My first hand ended up lumpy because I applied too much polish, but by my second hand, I figured out that two thin coats give a much more even and smooth result. It looked flawless! The tools included were super helpful to prevent polish from getting on my cuticles, which made the whole process neater.One bonus of doing this at home was being able to scroll through emails and social media in between steps—something I could never do at a salon! From start to finish, it took me just 20 minutes, even as a first-timer who usually struggles with at-home nail care.I highly recommend this kit! It saves so much time and costs just a fraction of what you’d spend at a salon. Plus, it’s fun and satisfying to do your nails yourself. Definitely a must-have! ?�

This is my first time ever using gel nail polish with a UV lamp at home. I did not know I was suppose to first apply a dehydrator then a primer prior to the base coat.I pray they didn’t ruin my real nails cause it took me a long time to grow these back out after last having acrylics from a nail salon… I did get some special gel nail remover to take them off easier so hopefully that works. Other than that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS set and lamp. I cannot wait to see how long they last before chipping, and also cannot wait to change the colors again. This color here tho is always my go to color, only I topped it with sparkle top coat this time and I love it. Worth the money for sure. Can’t wait to learn more, and hope this helps keep my nails from breaking, my thumb nail broke literally the day I got this set of course :)
